RESERVE CRAFT SHOW

What a joy to be involved with the Reserve at Gwynedd annual Fine Arts and Craft Show for Charity.  The Inspiration Project had a booth there and we were able to sell our inspirational art for our mission of then donating to charity.  Check out these pictures. We surprised many people by showing them what The Inspiration Project actually does.  We were also asked by organizations how they can get involved in our giving efforts.  We were happy to oblige!

California, Here We Come!

October, 2016 was a great time to go to California to relax and also to be inspired.  I was fortunate enough to meet people whom I gave my inspirational card stock to and give them daily inspirations and art pictures.  There was the lady from Turkey who inspired me with her art.  She explained her art to me and was gratified when I gave her an inspirational saying to allow her to continue doing what she loved.  There was Blair's mother who was two years into cancer treatment and was doing well.  There was our delightful young server at the restaurant who was having her first day and was a little timid.  Giving her good luck and a picture delighted her to know she was on the right track and that I appreciated her good service.  And there were above all, the people in wheelchairs going on their first trip with aides who were delighted with my Project.  The Aides were doing an incredible job and to know there are so many people out there to give their all to those less fortunate.   But the person who struck me as in need the most of inspiration was an aide who was taking her patient home to his family for his last trip and last month.  That was incredibly sad and the aide appreciate my discussion with her about my Project.
So, California, THANK YOU!!!!! for inspiring me to do my project.

Samaritan Purse Cardstock Pictures

Special Olympics Centerpieces

October 12, 2016

It has been an incredible time for The Inspiration Project.  We successfully participated at Special Olympics for Montgomery County in providing 20 centerpieces for their golf outing with the logo of Special Olympics, their motto and a fabulous golf picture.
We participated in Samaritan's Purse in providing 200 cardstock inspirational pictures for their Children's Volunteer Christmas Project in sending laminated cardstock overseas to third world countries where our inspirational pictures are placed in shoeboxes and given to 200 children who may only receive one box every 11 years.
Our first beading project was successful and after a delicious lunch nine women beaded 50 bracelets for donation to Samaritan's Purse Project.  It was awesome and gratifying.
Our friendly visitors continue to place art picture frames by the bedsides of many at long term care facilities.  Our frames are also given to charity recipients in their weekly food baskets.
Stay tuned for further information about our success.   Many thanks, Barbara

Good morning to all,

August 1, 2016 - Four months and going strong.  We have just surpassed our goal of 125 frames and we are looking at 200 shortly.  It has been an incredible journey so far.

We now have a drop off in two locations - Ambler Flower Shop, 107 E. Butler Pike, Ambler, Pa - across from the Ambler movies.  Gene is a tremendous florist and will have a bin in his store to collect recycled 5x7 or 4x6 frames.

Our second location is Pour L'image, 117 Ridge Pike, Conshohocken, PA.  Jackie is an incredible esthetician and will make you look amazing - and young!  She has offered her salon for a drop off point for recycled picture frames also.

We are going to have a table at the Ambler Pet Parade on Saturday, August 6, 2016 - Yes, we are doing pet inspirations - come see them and purchase one so that the proceeds will be put back into The Inspiration Project for distribution to those in a challenged position.

We also have a poster at the Lansdale "Y" in Lansdale, PA - if you go there, please take the time to read the poster and contribute to our incredible cause.

We are growing in volunteers also - it is a fun time to volunteer with us - we work hard to match up the correct picture frame with a wonderful, spirited piece of art with an inspiration saying.  They, of course, are then distributed to many organizations.

We are getting ready for the Special Olympics of Montgomery County annual golf outing, where our frames will be the centerpieces for the tables.  Contact Montgomery County Special Olympics for a ticket to this fabulous event.

We are now contracting with four more agencies to supply them with "inspiration" or conduct art workshops -

This is an awesome ride,,,,,,,,,,  come along!

Inspirationally yours,
Barbara Mishkin

One month into the Project.

Wow, we are one month into the Inspiration Project and we are generating 30 frames with inspirational sayings and art in a month and have requests for 25 extra for September through December.  We are presently working with a Main Line school where the students are writing the inspirational sayings and illustrating them with photographs and art.  We are working with two long term care communities and sending art in weekly packages to those in need of inspiration because of daily challenges.

Anyone knowing of an organization who would like to work with us and receive our artwork, please get in touch with us at TheInspirationProject5@gmail.com

Thank you to all who have donated frames and made monetary contributions to us - they are deeply appreciated.

See you next month!

We're On Our Way!

Yea, we are on our way!  We have had a wonderful first month and have donated pictures to the Mitzvah Circle for placement in their packages going to homes for those challenged at this time.  We are thrilled and have many appointments in the coming months to introduce The Inspiration Project to local schools and charities.
The Inspiration Project, is currently looking for gently used or new picture frames (yes, dollar store frames are perfect).
Bringing inspiration to those going through daily challenges and life concerns is the focus of the company.

One  picture frame at a time with an inspirational saying surrounded by an original piece of art, will be donated to charities, hospitals, long term care facilities and those people identified by friends concerned with the welfare of others.

Thank you in advance for your generosity of donating frames for this cause and for making the start up of The Inspiration Project a winner!
