March 21, 2017 - One Year Anniversary!!!!!

I can't believe that it has been one year since The Inspiration Project was started.  It has been an incredible first year.  We have worked with Samaritan's Purse, Hill Top Prep, Abramson Center for Jewish Life, Mitzvah Circle, Cancer Center for Personal Appearance, Special Olympics, St. Christopher's Hospital, Sunday Love Project and TCU Center at Abramson Center.  There have been an enormous number of individual requests for our inspirations through card stock and frames.

We have had 966 frames donated to us for the project,  We have donated over 400 frames and 1,375 card stock pictures.  We have run the gamut of working with schools and having the students write inspirational sayings and illustrate them.  These were used for all of our projects in sending art to third world countries for their students, which makes it student to student.  Working with the schools gives the students individual ownership of the project and a commitment for an important community effort.  It helps students be creative, both literally and artistically.  The Special Olympics used the project for their centerpieces for the annual golf event.  We now have a subscription series for college students.

A local charity puts these gifts into weekly gift baskets of food and clothing.  250 cards were sent through Samaritan's Purse Project to third world countries for their annual Christmas drive.  We are gearing up for 450 cards this year.   We are sending hundreds of cards to a rehab program for their welcome basket for their patients.  They are also used for special dinner mementos for dinner project where there is a special Italian and Mexican theme.

BNY Mellon had a drive for our Project in the Fall of 2016 and collected over 130 frames, paper and other items we utilize over the year.  

A beading event was held in our offices and 50 bracelets were sent to young girls over seas.  

Our volunteer staff of six is invaluable - WE love them and couldn't do without them.  

We have initiated a four page brochure to include with any advertising we do for the public.

2017 looks awesome.
